Sweet merciful Aurora, I can't believe this idea may never EVER get extended past SU#50. The story felt like a decent idea, two originally emotionless AIs possibly being in love with each other. Oh MAN, do I miss Shard. And Nicole does look... um... appealing... in that toga.
But I'm here to talk about the art. Personally I can't help but think of this as a reminder of what could've been; a possible love connection between these two robots (if "robot" could be a good word to describe Nicole, which it probably wouldn't) who were, once again, once-completely emotionless entities.Ratings and Why They Are SoVision - 5/5 stars
Considering how in SU#50 Shard's last words must've involved his feeling toward Nicole and were also cut short by his "death" (that and the part where they were playing giant chess in cyberspace(?) where they talked about Shard's new-leafing was pretty cool), this might make sense (in my opinion) from a certain perspective. The more I look at this, I could kinda see this maybe taking place before the Giant Chess Scene (if comics have scenes and if I could place this at a certain point in the Pre-Super Genesis Wave timeline).Originality - 3.5/5 stars
It IS technically fan art...
I only gave it 3.5 stars because I REALLY wanted to see more of this couple (officially, that is... I dunno, maybe I.F. could bring back Shard... if he can, that is). Unfortunately, that is the best I can do to explain this part.Technique - 5/5 stars
Uh.... Um..... It looks nice...?
I guess I just have a thing with digitally-made art....Impact - 5/5 stars
Darn it, I MISS Shard. With a capital "MISS". Speaking of miss, Nicole looks nice.
To those actually
reading this, yes, I've got nothing to say at this part.Closing Words
I'm not very good at closing words, so I'm just going to leave those reading with this:Rest In Peace
Archie Comic's Sonic's Pre-Super Genesis Wave Timeline
Your plots may have been semi-crap, but your characters were rather memorable with some rather nice developments.
May you see Aurora in the Virtual Zone (if you're not there already).
You will be dearly, heavily, sorely, "way past" missed.
